We at Hälla Kafferosteri love hot, freshly brewed coffee, but when you want something refreshing, there are few things that beat a really well-balanced, cold coffee drink.

That's why we have some fun news: Next week we're running a 5-part blog series where every day from Monday to Friday we'll share recipes, tips and guides for fantastic cold coffee drinks!

This week's schedule: Day by day

We show you how to easily whip up magical cold coffee drinks at home in your own kitchen using our freshly roasted beans.

Here's what you have to look forward to during the week:

• Monday: Espresso Tonic

  We're starting the week with a sparkling and refreshing favorite! Learn how to get the perfect balance between espresso, tonic and ice without it being too bitter.

• Tuesday: Cold Brew

  Learn the art of brewing great cold brew coffee from scratch. We'll go over steeping time, grind size, and which beans give the smoothest, most natural sweetness.

• Wednesday: Iced V60

  For those of you who love hand-brewed coffee! We show you how to brew a fresh and berry Iced V60 directly over ice to preserve all the coffee's fine nuances and aromas.

• Thursday: Coldbrew Latte

  Creamy, refreshing and incredibly delicious, we take Tuesday's Cold Brew and transform it into the ultimate iced latte.

• Friday: Affogato al Caffè

  We're ending the week in the best possible way – with an Italian classic! Simple, luxurious and the perfect combination of hot espresso and creamy vanilla ice cream.

The right beans make all the difference

Making cold brew coffee isn't just about throwing in a few ice cubes. When coffee is chilled, the way our taste buds perceive acidity and sweetness changes. That's why the choice of coffee bean makes a huge difference!
